Custom Woodwork
Woodworking is a passion of mine, when I have spare time away from the van, I like to hone my art and produce custom work. Below are some pictures of work I have done in the past, if you see something you like feel free to contact me about crafting something for you.
Charcuterie Boards, Serving Platters, Cutting Boards and more. I specialize in combining the beauty of natural woods with food grade epoxy to create a beautiful show piece for food presentation. I have also been experimenting with wood inlays creating artistic pieces that incorporate separate species of wood in one piece.
Recently having a child has unlocked my inner child and a desire to create and build toys that utilize natural wood instead of flashy colored plastics. I believe in the importance of exposing children to the natural elements while feeding their natural curiosities.
Custom wood signs any size up to 4' x 6'. I also incorporate lighting inlayed where epoxy is used for added effect. Sign design is as easy as sending me a vague idea or simple photo of what you are looking for.
I have also dabbled in creating themed jewelry, decorative boxes and more. My passion is for climbing and everything outdoors so my art represents everything our beautiful Colorado environment has to offer.
Not the most thrilling but definitely useful when building a van and coming across something that you can't either find or realize its much less expensive to just use your engineering degree to create. Gotta pay of those student loans eventually! If you know of something you need, a quick drawing with some basic dimensions is all I need.
