Although seemingly unrelated, my passion for vanlife started with a motorcycle adventure across south and central America. This is when and where I found what I was capable of when I let go of fear and embraced what it was truly like to be free.  This 7 month adventure set the tone for where my life was headed.  Shortly after returning home, I completed my education that earned me a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (side note: This was my first college experience and I was 39 when I graduated).  

Starting a new life at 39 with a future that had endless possibilities, I decided to buy a van and build it out because 7 months on the road only a short while ago was fresh in mind and not something I wanted to end now if ever.  I lived in that van for 2 years traveling up and down the western U.S until some major life moments took me home and grounded me in the reality the universe insisted I be a part of.  

Over the next 2 years I was faced with challenges that have led me to be the person I am today, a much stronger person after the loss of my Mother, a pandemic, losing my Dog/Best Friend, having a baby(new best friend), losing my job and then last but not least losing my Father to cancer (3 weeks after the birth of my son), the stresses of life have me taught me more than I could ever learn in engineering school, lessons that taught me to be braver, stronger but most importantly the lesson that life is short.  

These lessons and experiences were the catalyst for the latest chapter in my life.....Building camper vans, this desire is more than just churning out vans to make money, I truly want the people I build for to experience what I did and make the connections I did with other people doing the same thing.  I also want to focus on quality and use mainly natural materials that bring a sense of the outdoors inside.  

Whether you're a part time adventurer or a full time vagabond/coddiwompler/Nomad what ever you feel you are, Your life, like mine, is short and needs to be crammed full of the best experiences possible. When you're in a van that I have crafted for you, I want you to spend every moment in it and outside of it in a place that makes you feel the most alive. I want nothing more than to be the one who builds your van that brings these experiences into your life!!
